She was cutting herself, as well as bulimic. She *should* be on the island - she brought it all on herself.

Misfit Doll (voiced by Corinne Conley) is an unnamed, but seemingly normal girl rag doll. Her presence on the island is never explained. Though one accepted reason is that the problem is somewhat psychological. Another possibility, as the doll mentions in her song "Even a doll that says 'how do you do'", this could mean that the doll is a misfit because she can actually talk without pushing buttons or pulling a string, and probably had vocal cords and everything.

I believe she was a misfit because one arm was shorter than the other. I will have to go home and watch the movie. I'll come back later with a better answer.
