I had one done in 1993 after my fourth child and I have not got pregnant. I had them cut and burnt but I did meet women who have gotten pregnant after a tubal ligation but they had them tied. As an earlier post said if the tubes are cut and burnt it is very unlikely as I recall it was suppose to be 99.9% effective in preventing pregnancy.

http://www.estronaut.com/a/pregnancy_after_tubal_ligation_damage.htm This website tells a little about it. It is possible, but rare. I know a couple of women here where I live that this has happened to. It depends on how the tubal was done. If it was the cut/cauterize/tie method then the chances are extremely rare. Best thing to do is ask the Dr who done the procedure what kind you had done. There's also a higher chance of having an ectopic (tubal) pregnancy when this happens and it can be life threatening to the mother. Hope that this helps you. Good luck!!

I had a tubal ligation in 2000 and was told there is always a chance, but would not survive because when the sperm goes towards the tubes it will get stuck. But if the slippery little devils they are actually get through, the egg that forms will also get stuck in the tubes.

If you desire pregnancy, there's always in vitro fertilization. The chance of accidental pregnancy after tubal is very low, but 'possible'.

If your tubes wern't clipped and burnt then yeah you can get pregnant. Tubes have been known to untie.
