I've been emailing with this guy I've met through answers. I think he is noble and honorable and wonderful, but I am quite a bit older than he is and if he's being honest about his age on answers, I doubt he would be interested in me.
He's not below 'legal' age, I will likely never meet him, we aren't talking about anything salacious, just basic life stuff. I'm wondering if I should tell him how old I am because I don't want to feel like I'm leading him on.
I've even created this ID so I can ask this question without him knowing, what do you all think?

If you're serious about this, then I think you should tell him the truth. Relationships founded on deceit don't usually work out so well in the long run.

we're both aware of the dangers of meeting someone over the net and that people lie. i think for the moment you should get to know him a bit more and if you live nearby set up a public meeting point. as for the age thing, i think it depends how much older you are. 10 years? 20 years? if you think it'll get in the way of your relationship with him, then tell him now. if not, you could tell him at your meeting. good luck!

Life is way to short not to say your feelings...Hell yeah tell him...Whats the worst that can happen? Him not be into you...big deal then all that means is it wasn't for you...But holding it in will always leave the question what if... Plus, you havent even met him nor will you just run into him so come on its not that big of a deal.

Go ahead get to noe him, there isn't anything to lose at the first place unless of course you give him the password to your bank account number that is. So get to know him. Be honest about it and dun be shy. Good Luck!

just tell him how will he know how u feel if u dont tell him he might fell the same way but is scared 2 if he doesnt just brush it of and move on.
