how has this changed during each age period? do you feel stupid when you are not out on friday night?

age 15-21, 95-100%, lots of drinking.
age 22-25, 50-75%, I worked Friday nights but would usually stop at the bar after work when I got out on time. I drank a lot then still.
age 26-27, about 25%, maybe once a month with my boyfriend if I wasn't working. I went out more on week nights because the crowds are annoying here on Fri and Sat.
age 28, maybe a few times this entire year. I just can't handle it anymore. Occasionally I'll go out during the week but it's random. I don't feel stupid about staying home. I just don't care anymore. I rarely drink now.

felt like life had ended when home on Friday night when I was a teenager.
haven't felt stupid, for that reason, since.
Felt and actually have been stupid more times than I care to count, but not because of being at home on Friday night.

i haven't been out on firday nights like when i was young well since i wsas young. guess the last time might be in the early eighties. there isan exception i got drunk one friday night a couple of years ago and got lost on some country back roads. it was raining and i saw aneon bud sign in the window of a white cinderblock bjuilding at this corssroads so i stopped and went in . it was a friday night. i don't know why but i had downed a few hen a hell of a fight broke out some young slugged me in the stomach. strangely, it had no effect i was just puzzled. i pushed by way outta that joint and hit the road. finally figured out the way home and ihavent been out on a friday since. and i nver will. amen. hell i could have been the one that got shot!

Every Friday night 52 weeks a year, but I don't limit it to just Friday nights.

I used to go out every friday nights, to the same places just because I want to go out. But now, come to think of it, I would rather stay home & be with my bed.

I wouldn't be able to tell you how many times i have been out? I know there are a lot of people who go to church on Sunday.
I know today a lot of people go to the stores? If they work and earn a decent living. I realize that credit is not important to me. I wouldn't want a credit card..

In my 20's EVERY FRIDAY. Now, at 40, I went out once this year (retro night at a gay bar) oh, I also quit drinking 3 years ago...

i stay at home most of the time. i'm a mom of two wonderful children and enjoy every minute of it. but i do like getting out for a break now and then..mommy time
