My mom is 87 yrs old, and she doesn't like getting presents. But I got her some anti-bac moisterizing hand soap and a matching bottle of hand lotion from bath & body works. Also, all my brothers & sisters went in together and go her a new front & back door for her house a few months ago, and told her that was her early Christmas present.

3 crossword puzzle books, 3 books by Maeve Binchy, 4 DVDs, lavender bath 'stuff', 7 books by other authors she likes, an ornament for the tree (traditional) and a partridge in a pear tree. (Yeah - weird list, but this is what she likes.)

If my mom was still alive, I'd get her a nice coffee mug, a new set of pots and pans, crossword puzzles, reference books for the crosswords, and a spa trip. She deserved it.
