Brand new rebuilt engine, trans and rear end. I no it needs new hoses but i hear the wiring sucks and the high pressure fuel system causes quite a few problems. How dependable r they from this point forward and any suggestions on a good mechanic? Im in south california

The wiring is no problem (except engine grounding, which is no problem). My fuel system has never caused a problem. If you care for them like they require, they treat you good in return.
Keep an eye on the temp Gage, and oil pressure at all times.

NO synthetic oil!
NEVER overheat!
ALWAYS warm up engine before driving...

Theres a lot of little annoyances with the engine, but its worth it!
