I can get online and use internet services just fine. But i cannot see my network in-house, nor access laptop from Hardwired CPUs. The hardwired network works just fine. Am i missing a setup step or a protocol setting? Can you walk me throughit, because even tho i am hardware savvy, this one has me beat because of the wireless factor. Can you kindergarten me through it? Thanks in advance

I have 5 desktop CPUs hard wired and they can all see each other. my laptop cannot see or BE seen on the in-house network.

Have you tied the networking wizard? Its in control panel, networking folder. Make sure to use the same network name.

Make sure your laptop is part of the network first. I think a computer can be using the wifi without being part of the network. You will need to run the Wireless network setup wizard and then make sure that the lap top is in the same network name.

If you are using the Laptop's or WiFi card's wireless connection utility disable it and Let windows manage your wireless network.

Control Panel > Network Connections. If you don't have a wireless network icon in there, you may have issues with the hardware itself, try it at another location and see if it works there.
