Bush's legacy, that has already cost him any possible place of respect in history, is that, for whatever reason, he has abandoned the heart and soul of this country and led us down a path of extreme violence to other countries that will never be victorious, but will only lead to the bankruptcy of the nation both financially and spiritually

Pro: He sticks to his guns and doesn't fold under dissent, pressure or controversy.

Con: He can't realize or admit being wrong.

Before judging me, I should explain what I mean. Although I feel that the War in Iraq was a bad idea, President Bush went into Iraq, kept the troops there and stuck to his beliefs despite much dissent from the international community and from many Americans. It may not have been a good decision, but he did stick with it. Every presidential decision has and will have people who disagree and think that it's a bad idea. It is important for a president to make a decision and not fold on it. Of course, it's also important for them to know when they've made a bad decision or are about to make a bad decision and better plan ways to remedy those decisions. George W. Bush still hasn't seemed to realize how bad a decision he made and can't admit defeat.
