Jessus wasnt really born on this date he was born alittle bit earlier and it is celebrated now because it is just a more reasonable date.

Nobody knows "when" Jesus was born, especially since they didn't have the same calendar then as we do now. The Church create the Liturgical Calendar to fit all the major stuff into the Church calendar year - Lent and Easter, Advent and Christmas, Ordinary time, etc.

It was suppose in relationship to the star. The one that was sighted at time of his birth. That star does or did exist. Been proven. As far as the word Christmas it means Christ's Mass. And it was established to celebrate his birth. And by the Catholic Church, I believe. Look at History Channel website. It is good resource for more info.

Put Marduk back in Christmas! He's the reason for the season. (Yuletide.) No one knows when Jesus was born, but probably not on Dec. 25th, the Church decided that was the generic date much later.

Jesus was prolly born September or October but you know what, im glad he was born, I don't care what day he was born im just glad he was.
Also Israel has Meditteranean Climate so Sheep would have still been in the Fields in December anyways

I don't think they care anymore.
It's just a date...what day do you think they should celebrate Christmas? They don't know what day it was.
Hey look at it this way, lets say they do start to care about the day he was born, and then have a war over what day they should celebrate it.
Look you know and I know and most of them know it's all BS, just let them be.
