I have aDell inspiron 8600 and would like a newer computer. Is there much of a market for used computers?

Well, if you use ebay you will have to tack on a fee for shipping and handling, which could raise the price enough so that others might not want to bid on it. I think your best bet is to post an ad for it in your local papers so that a potential buyer wouldn't have to have it shipped.

ebay is good or your local newspaper in a mid size or larger city. yes there's a market for used computers for people that may not have the money to buy a new one.

Just use ebay. Most people want it cheap and usable.
