Well this is going to take a long time to explain because its a concept.
In MCR's new album , The Black Parade, There is a character called the patient (there are other characters),. who is dying tragically young of cancer, so when he dies, death comes for him him the form of a black parade becasuse his strongest memory is when he was a child and his dad took him to see a marching band (hense the lyric "when i was a young boy my father took me into the ciy to see a marching band").
This is the lead singer's, Gerard Way, belief of what happens when you die. He believes that death comes fro you in the form of your greatest memory.
There is ALOT MORE i could tell you about the new album and how the songs on the album came to be, but it'd take a while .

To many people, black represents depression. And parade could be a non-literal meaning of group??

It is in reference to a funeral procession.
The song starts with the father talking to his son on his death bed, so I imagine it is about the funeral that is going to take place.
