You get to the place by about 8 AM and they'll check your ID and calculator and send you to an assigned seat. This is the test order:

English - 75 questions in 45 minutes.
Math - 60 questions in 60 minutes.
*10-minute break*
Reading - 40 questions in 35 minutes.
Science - 40 questions in 35 minutes.
*5-minute break*
Writing - 1 essay in 30 minutes.

I took the test in October (?) and it's split into 5 sections--English, Math, Reading, Science, and the optional Writing, which u really need to take if you're applying to colleges. Each section lasts between 30 minutes to an hour, and I know you get breaks. I think there is one 5 minute break and one 10 minute.

***The time limits are TOUGH! Be sure to practice with these limits! 40 questions with 35 minutes doesn't seem hard, but when you're in stressful testing conditions answering the questions gets a lot harder.***

The different sections are divided up and timed. There are four sections. There is a break in the middle of the test, for 15 minutes I think.
