I'm 15 years old and I want to make friends with a mid-twenty-year-old female teacher. Does anyone think that it could happen? (When I say "friend", I mean IM'ing her, calling her, hugging her every day like actual friends do.) Don't ask why, I just want to. She's awesome.

yeah you can be friends with teachers. im really good friends with my 7th grade social studies teacher. we talk to each other on the phone and go to the mall and stuff. and he hugs me :] so i guess you can say we`re really close friends?

The best answer I can give to whether or not a student could ever be friends with a teacher would be yes, you could...after you're no longer a student in her classmate, or even in her school anymore.

I don't see anything wrong with that, provided that she's not your teacher in any of your classes (as this could influence your grades. She might give you a passing mark even you should have flunked, examination tips, etc.).
The best way is to read your school's guidelines. Your school should have a rule about this.

It could happen but you have to rememeber a teacher was hired to teach and protect students not become overly friendly with them. I rememeber when I was in high school a fellow student of mine got friendly with a teacher and as soon as the school found out she lost her job.

erm i think it would be kinda weird to be friends with a teacher saying hello and that if fine but want to call her and hug her is kinda strange

YES, teacher are teachers, not monsters, they are human too! try to be friends with her, cause having aannoying teacher is soooo annoying.
