Because he's a little kid. It's natural for little kids to cry a lot. Take it from me. I know a bunch of little kids.

He's only four years old, mind you. Four year olds are okay to cry a lot to show how they feel towards a certain phenomenon. Why do you watch Caillou, anyway? No offense to you and that's the way they are.

I dunno, I've been wondering about that myself.
Why is he bald too? His parents don't mention that at all.
That little dinosaur, Rexy, is cute though. I wish I had a stuffed animal like that. LOL!!
