I have a guinea pig that is about 1 year old and I wanted to find out if anyone had a good idea. If you think of an answer please post it!!!!

You could get your guinea pig a new igloo house, or something like it. you could give him some apples and carrots as treats, or something else he loves. Maybe buy him a bigger cage. I got my guinea pig a GIANT cage for his birthday one year. One of my guinea pigs also loved those yogurt covered treats from the pet store, maybe yours would like them too. Good Luck, i think it is sweet to get your guinea pig a gift for Christmas! :)

Does it already have a wheel to exercise in or an exercise ball? If not, either one would be good. The balls are really nice because the guinea pig gets a really good workout and can see some different scenery other than just it's cage. My daughter has had several hamsters, mice & rats that really enjoyed the balls and so did we. If you put it in a ball, just be sure to watch it closely so that it doesn't get lost. They can get behind or under furniture where you can't see them so keep an eye on it. I hope this helps with your gift decision.
