I think that depends on different college/university?
But mine is 3 hours.

It depends on the subject. The usual course is 3 hours per week; MWF for 50 min. or T/Th for 90 min. A full load is considered 12 hours (4 courses) or more; part-time is usually 6 hours. There are exceptions: Orchestra is a 1 credit course, we yet meet 5 hours per week, and hold concerts on top of that. Labs for science are also 1 hour credit, but last 2-2 1/2 hr./wk.
I recommend you meet with a student advisor and schedule your course of studies together. They are helpful and their services are free.
Best wishes.

That somewhat depends on how many credits the class is worth. If it is worth 3 credits, it is 3 hours a week. Some classes - like Phys. Ed. classes want you there 3 hours a week, but you only get 1 hour of credit. Other classes - like those with a lab, might have you there longer than 3 hours for no extra credit, or they might give you 4 credits. Check your catalog and class list(s) for the number of hours and credits.

Mon, Wed, and Fridays they are 50 mins. Tues/Thurs. 90 min.
Science classes usually have labs that last an extra 2 to 3 hours and a calculus class usually meets every day for 50 mins. Some night classes meet once a week for 3 hours.

I am taking online classes so I get to set my own time limit. I know my brother-in-law is taking 3 courses and they are approx. 3 hours long each time they meet 2 times a week. My sister-in-law was taking a course and it runs 90 minutes each time it meets 2 times a week. Then she had Labs and it took 5 hours and only met 1 time a week.
I hope this helps you.

I go to a college, and my shortest class was 1 1/2 hours and my longest was 3 hours. It depends on what your degree plan is and the classes that go along with the degree. I am in classes that have labs and my longest lab was 6 hours, but like I said it depends on which classes you take.

It depends on your school, what days your classes are on, and how many hours they count for.
For example, I have a Monday, Wendsday Friday class that counts for 3 credit hours. It last about fifty minutes each day.
Some of the classes are on Tuesday Thursday for three credit hours and they last for about an hour and a half. (Same if they just meet on Monday/Wendsday/Whichever)
Then you have some classes that will only meet one day a week. If they are worth 3 credit hours, it will last three hours. If it is only worth 1 credit hour, it will only last an hour.
And then of course you have labs, which seem (to me) to follow their own rules. Basically labs are required for the class, but you don't get credit hours for just the lab. So you might have Spanish MWF for an hour (each day), and have spanish lab TuesThurs for an hour (each day) so you are taking five hours of spanish but only getting three spanish credit hours.
I know that was long, but I hope it helps!

My college classes are 50 minutes if they're MWF classes, hour and a half to an hour & 50 (depending on the professor--they're scheduled as hour and fifty minutes) on TTh, 2 and a half hours if they're one day a week.

In my situation...For example...if i am taking a class...i will be taking that class either on Mondays and Wednesdays or on Tuesdays and Thursdays...Now that class will be an hour and thirty minutes long...

it really varies (down to the semester) as all these people said. for example this winter, i'll be taking a class five days a week for two weeks for 4.5 hours a day (i'm not even kidding)
normally i have each class three hours a week though.

Hey pallie, like it depends on the class. Some are like 50 minutes, and others can last several hours.
