Besides wearing a new hat to break it in, its there other way to do this. I hate takig the time to break it in by wearing it.
Any good ways of doing so with out destorying it?

Try soaking the hat completely in warm water, and then placing it on your head. Allow the hat to dry on your head. When this happens, the hat will shrink and conform to the size and shape of your head.
This can be time-consuming and uncomfortable, but you'll have a hat that fits perfectly on your noggin. Give it a try.

Not really, just like shoes the hat needs to mold to your head not some other object. So try just wearing it at home for an hour or two a day then it will be broken in in no time.

What I would do is take some of the hemming out and then try it.Or you could take the hem out and put elastic in it
