Officially, no one in the US has died of old age since 1953. They probably started using "natural causes", in which case you can be any age.

i'd say its not an actual age thing but more a condition of age. ie. heart failure, stroke maybe, anything to do with failure that wasn't to do with drinking.
people all age differently. my gramma died at 101 of old age. no other way to say it, she just got slower and slower and showed age until she died.
