Its the lead singer (gerard way) and the bassist (mikey way)'s grandmother whos full name was elena lee rush , she died and gerard wrote this song dedicated to his grandmother because she was a big influence to gerard and very close to them

Well actually the song was inspired by the death of Gerard Way's grandmother Elena,but when he sang "Elena" it sounded like Helena and the rest is history
