No. There is no need for any vaccination before visiting Bangalore. Bangalore does not come under the cover of any endemic or epidemic diseases. But I would advise to take only mineral or hot water for drinking any where in India.

The us govt recommends the following vaccines though none are compulsory

Hepatitis A
Hepatitis B
Japanese encephalitis
Malaria
Rabies
Typhoid.
As needed, booster doses for tetanus-diphtheria and measles, and a one-time dose of polio for adults.

It's wise to get a vaccination when visiting any country overseas. But Bangalore is much safer disease wise when compared to other Indian cities. But I would get a vaccinated to be sure.

I do not know if it is necessary, but I know it is always a good idea to get vaccinations when you are leaving the country.

You only need a vacination for 'Vampirism' in India. The people will take everything you have if you are not extremely caution and careful. Trust no one especially anyone which approaches you. They want something if not your money then your life force/energy.

There' s a viral flu spreading in India called the "Chikungunya" if you get it apparently you'll suffer a lot. The pain is just unbearable. So it's better if you find out from your doctor...
