I suck at writing birthday/holiday cards...help, anyone?

It's for a really close friend of mine, and I want to write something short, but not too short. (I'm giving her a belated birthday/holidays present) Soo if anyone knows what I can write it in I would really appreciate it if you could tell me.

Get a book of quotations and find one that seems appropriate for your friend. When you write it in the card, use quotation marks, and then just say, "I hope you have a happy birthday." and sign your name.
