Can I install PC5400D SODIMM memory into my laptop which came with PC2700?

I have a Dell Inspiron 1150 whic came with two 256 mb PC2700 memory sticks. I would like to upgrade, and there is a good deal that I found on PC5400D laptop memory. Will this run in my computer?

no the pc 2700 iis the ddr type of ram, the highest you can go is pc3200. pc 5400 is ddr2 type which is not compatible with your machine, you can only use ddr. any higher than pc 3200 is the ddr2 type

no, definitely not. PC5400 is of the type DDR2, whilst PC 2700 is of the older type DDR.
