No, if you want a gamesystem that plays DVDs you should get a Playstation 2 or 3 or an X-Box.

No, But listen to this did you know that I hear of a specific device you have to buy in Japan that allows you to play DVDs on Gamecubes. Of course Im pretty sure it only works on Japananease coded gamecubes (The ones sold in Japan) Other then that Dvds are impossible on the Gamecubes here in the USA
