Well I bought my friend two little things and then I had a bracelet for her too but I had to end up giving that to my other friend (long story) so now I don't think I have enough for the friend it was meant for and I'll look cheap. Is there anything I can make or get from around the house that's cute. Please be specific. Thanks!

There are a few different things you could do. If she has kids, you could make a certificate for babysitting. You could get an online gift certificate tonight.
You could get a blank notebook and list things like the movies you've seen together, funny things you've both said, funny quotes of people or celebrities you know, a top ten list of why she's your friend etc. If you do this get a small notebook, and you have to make several lists so that it looks full enough. I did this for my fiance and he loved it.

it is easy to show a friend you care by doing the smallest things, if she is a close friend then I would make a scrap book and fill it with anything about you 2. and if you dont have anything to put in it tell her you want to start going places and filling it with pics and survinares. it will be fun to make and you dont have to spend money just get things around the house to do this, and if you dont have paper get an old shoe box and make a memory box, use broken jewlery and misc stuff to decorate it, if you want a neat design on it use a peice of old clothing instead of paper to wrap it, remeber what it was like being in grade school and let you inner child be creative

If you don't have a gift for your friend tell her/him that u didn't have time with all the stress, being so busy, and everything, of the holidays, he/she will understand!

or you can buy her a gift certificate to a store
or if she likes cooking you can give her lots of different recipies

make a sweet card explaining why u couldn't get her much, then ask her if she would like to do something fun that u both enjoy, like a spa day or something like that.
