I have no problem with homosexuality. What a person wants to do with their love life and sexual relationships is of no concern to me.
I do have a problem with people who have a problem with it and use violent actions or degrading remarks to belittle a person who prefers the same sex. They have no right to intervene in a person's private life.
And I do think that same sex unions should be legally recognized everywhere, if only to allow the benefits of any other marriage such as health insurance. I'm not talking about a religious marriage in a church or anything, either.
And I won't get into rebutting all the religious arguments, except for this - in my experience, for everything written in the bible, the opposite is written elsewhere within it pages.

Where to start? I find it a problem that people continue to be deliberately misinformed, and that we get such questions as this. For starters, there are indeed MANY religions that openly welcome queer people, including many Christian sects. "Wrong" is a moral judgement, and without any kind of supporting evidence besides "my religion tells me so", has no place in our pluralistic society. As for "unnatural", each new animal species they find that also practices homosexual behavior to varying degrees (often individuals will display exclusively homosexual mate pairing; others are more bisexual) would seem to prove that wrong. What I think is a problem in America is that there are people who are still misquoting good research, holding onto old research that has been thoroughly disproven, and in many cases out and out LYING and making things up. If I believed half the things certain religious leaders say without fact-checking, I wouldn't be too keen on gay folk either.

OK, here goes nothing. I personaly think that homosexuality is wrong. I was raised this way. I think that in our society today though it must be accepted. I do not think that anyone like this should be in any way an officer of the Church. I believe Bishops, Pastors, Priests, Deacons and Teachers should be held to a higher standard.

Well now, that's not a very good question for this type of forum, because you're not going to get perceptive responses. Your question has a variety of components that it splinters into, and I'm sure you're going to see quite a few of them as people reply to you.
Generally speaking, my view is that it's not good anywhere in the world, let alone America.
Without exception, in case you've never noticed, man is the only living animal--or other living species that I'm aware of--who routinely seeks a same-sex partner, to the total exclusion of an opposite-sex partner, for sexual gratification on a continuing basis, or, worse, for sheer companionship!
There is no denying that homosexuality is abnormal; only a fool could argue to the contrary.
Homosexuality, in and of itself, it is not the problem. The problem about this abnormality, is what man himself makes of it.
It's unfathomable that the species that has the greatest ability to transform its intelligence into constructive deeds, also has the capacity to so twist and distort that intelligence as to make what is clearly wrong, seem right, and/or vice-verse.

Wake up! No matter what happens, it still doesn't stop it from being a developmental disorder, and that's all homosexuality is. I don't hate gays, I just think something went wrong with them along the way to adulthood.
Come on, it can't be natural. Common sense. Not only that, no invented religion of theirs will ever be anything but a myth.

I honestly don't know why this is categorized in psychology since the unless the asker is curious about what motivates sympathy or antipathy for homosexuality.
I really don't see other people's sexual orientation as any of my or anyone else's business unless they are engaging in nonconsentual sex acts or certain paraphilias like necrophilia, pedophilia, and bestiality; those should remain illegal, in my opinion.
I have actually seen some interesting documentaries exploring female homosexuality, and I have to say they're all right.

A lot of answers, one way or the other. May I have a feeling of complete indifference to homosexuality and it's problems?

I don't hate these people but it's wrong in every sense, clearly in the bible it's wrong. I know gays are searching the bible for a way to go on with this behavior but that does not exist so they choose the parts in the bible to come to. You have to believe in the bible in its entirety or not at all. The choice is up to you.

There are two reasons why it is not a problem for me. First of all, I'm not homosexual. Secondly, I have no qualms about being in the presence of homosexuals.
