Cleaning up after dogs on hardwood floors is easy. It's the carpets you have to worry about. Whenever my animals go on the hardwood, I just wipe/pick it up with a paper towel, get some soapy water or cleaner, put that were they had the accident, and then wipe that up too. Just make sure to use a gentle cleaner, nothing abrasive, like bleach, because that will ruin your hardwood.

The acid is going to do damage to the finish, wash with soap and water as soon as possible and dry throughly.

Use a paper towel then put vinegar on it right away it gets rid of the odor
