Points to consider:
(1) You must complete 100% of your work to be able to get 100%.
(2) No matter how good you are, there's room for improvement. So continue to work hard.
(3) Get sufficient rest before class, and pay 100% attention when in class.
(4) Write down your notes and review them.
(5) Get good maths. books you relate to well, and study them.
(6) Do lot's of example questions, and check your answers. If they are wrong, find out where you went wrong and learn form your mistakes.
(7) Learn form other peoples mistakes - so listen and let it go into your head.
(8) Always have a willing heart to work at maths.
(9) Give up a few extra hours of TV and work on your maths. instead.

Make sure you do your own homework. Check your answers after doing your homework. If you get stuck or don't know how to do a certain math problem, then ask your teacher, a student out of your class, or someone to help you with your homework.

I am deadly serious about this. When studying this focus on the meaning behind the number crunching. Do not use the examples as a recipe for math. There are concepts in every section and you should strive to pick them up before you even start the first problem of any home work assignment.

If you have to ask, your probably on the wrong path.

But depending on what grade your in, do the homework early and ask the teacher if you got the right answers. Some profesors were happy to tell me which I got wrong.

well,
as u soon as u come back from school,just go through ur lessons u were taught by ur teachers..
then try recaptulating..
do this everyday and each day try to recaptulate or see wht u hav studied yesterday..
this way,u ll gain loads of knowledge and a lot of confidence during ur exams as u dont forget the subject since u r revising everyday..
try recaptulating just for 10min..
also,u can do this while going to sleep and u ll eventually start memorising more..

Study everyday, practice problems that you don't understand, seek help from the teacher and/or a tutor, form a study group, and don't give up striving for the best grade!

practice makes perfect.u must always solve ur problems with ur friends n teachers,discuss n discuss till u r understood.at times u've to revise it over n over again.eat well n sleep well r also very important.don't always study late at mid-night oil.be aware!

Spend hours and hours in math lab just to understand, then, spend hours and hours on your own to finish the assignment.
