The Nintendo Wii is worth about $250and yes it is worth it. =)

It's about US$250. It has a wireless, motion sensitive Wii remote/Wiimote, and a second piece, called the nunchuck that attaches to it by a cable. You can control the game you play by moving the Wiimote around. So, for example, if you're playing Wii Tennis, instead of pushing buttons, you swing the remote around like you would a racket.
There are also custom avatars, called Miis, that you can create, so when you play a game, it shows up as your character.
However, it can also has serious gaming potential, as The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess proves.
The graphics aren't as beautiful as those of the PS3 or the XBox 360, but when you're having that much fun, you really won't notice.
We have one, and it's the most fun I've had with a video game in a long, long time. The best part is that people who have never played games before can play, too. It's very intuitive and very easy to use.
I can't recommend the Wii enough.

this site has everything you need to know about it, and by the way, it freakin comes with a game(Wii sports)
it's mainly motion censor(you move the wiimote and the thing on the screen moves), though this can be turned off in some games, the controllers or "wiimotes" can be used in many differen't ways(not just held in the hand, but sideways, backwards, etc. there is also the nunchuck controller(which also has the motion censor) with a joystick, a "c" button, and an "L" button

don't listen to the people saying "don't buy it, you'll get hurt" there's a reason for the wristband attached to it! it's not for show, but for protection! you won't break anything with it on, and if you're not wearing it, then you deserve to get hurt, but the site http://www.wiihaveaproblem.com/ is pretty funny, but seriously get it! it's awsome!
oh and I forgot to mention, you can download clasic games from NES, SNES, N-64, turbographx, and sega, using the online capability, the Opera browser just came out, which lets you go online form your wii, but as for the downloadable games, you buy a wii points card or just buy em straight from the TV, it's awsome!
I don't have one and I'm obsessed, my friend has one though, and there's nothing bad about it, it has differen't channels, including, the forecast channel( gives you the weather), the news(practically a news channel), and several others

It can do everything. You can download old games; play gamecube games; go on the internet; download pictures from an SD card and either Photo Shop it using the photo channel, or make a slide show with music from another SD card; you can read news from all over the news and look at the weather that is happening anywhere in the world. I say that $250 is a bargan. What I listed is only the tip of the iceberg

The Nintendo Wii sells for about $350. But Wal-Mart has a bundle that includes a bunch of games with it for about $500. (It's not available on walmart.com because it's out of stock)
The wii system is famous for the wireless controller that you strap to your hand and your hand is basically the controller as you move it.

the wii is so cool it cost 250 with 5 games in a good place it is so asome cuz u move around then use a cotroler and sit in wii u move u arms to control just by holding a stick and pressing bottuns it is just cool get it

you can move the controller around and the guy will move there is also a gun controller it is about $250 and it is worth it
