i was smoking hookah and im over 18 at night in a middle school
they found some weed in my friends' back pack
and my friends got tickets for marijuana posession.
one of them was 17 so cops called his parents and sign this contract thing.
i didn't get any ticket cuz i didnt have anything illegal on me but they took my info down. what will they do to me? am i gonna get expelled? what will happen to my friend? also they didnt tell me to go to court.

He will get a fine and probation probably without a good lawyer. U will get nothing. Dont sweat it bro.

As long as you were not in the possesion of anything or found to be under the influence there of, you shouldn't have anything to worry about. You shouldn't be in any trouble with the school. Recently, I was arrested with some of my friends at my school because one of them threatened to kill someone with a knife. The police took my information as well. I did not get into any trouble. Before that however, I had a beer and my friends and I started to
set off fireworks. The police came, the alcohol issue was dropped. However, I did get a ticket for the fireworks and served 6 hours of community service.

If they found nothing on you, they cannot *legally* do anything. They may put you on probation, however, but i'm pretty sure that's not an option either. They shouldn't expell you, but your friend could get a fine and/or be arrested. He WILL be expelled, if your school has ANY anti-drug rules.

If they didn't put the bracelets on you, they didn't arrest you. You don't have anything to worry about.
On a side note, what the hell are you doing hanging around with a hookah in your hand? Haven't you ever heard of rolling papers? You're just looking to get harassed.

If you are over 18 and they did not give you a ticket on the spot or arrest you for possession, paraphenalia, or for being on school grounds, then you are okay.

Now the cops see you as a potential troublemaker and will harass the heck out of you. Stay out of situations that may make you look bad.

This is why people use dimly-lit public parks to smoke at, man..
The pigs can't do sh!t if they didn't find anything on you, but they could get you on trespassing. You're not supposed to be on school grounds without a legitimate reason, and they can legally get you on trespassing charges if they really wanted to be ***** about it.
