the only thing I can say is to pay attention to your body. your body should give you signs when it is getting ready to ovulate. Signs are: a clear, slick, slimey discharge. I would also keep track of your monthly cycle. Your suppose to count back 14 days from the last day of your period, that is suppose to give you some idea of when you should ovulate. Again, look for signs from your body. This is how I always knew when I would get pregnant, and when not to have sex. The sperm can live up to 2 to 3 days once inside, and the egg can live up to 5 days. So I would count atleast 5 days before and maybe 6 days after you think your going to ovulate. Again, look for the signs.

There are lots of methods of birth control. Your local health department can provide more info in this topic.

Of course the only 100% fail-proof method of preventing pregancy is to not have sex.

Condoms are best because they protect against STIs, but you have to know how to put it on properly (instructions on the box). Diaphragm protects against pregnancy but not diseases. Hormone treatments like IUD, the ring, the patch, and the pill don't protect against STIs and they can cause blood clots, hair loss, and decreased sex drive. Home remedies like rue, tansy, pennyroyal, and juniper can be found in health stores, but they are not 100% and they can cause a miscarriage.

If you are not ready to be Mommy...dont have unprotected sex! Get on birth control and dont sleep with every tom, dick and harry that walks by...If you are pregnant now..you need to have the baby, (its not the babies fault you dont want her-him..so dont punish her-him for your mistake) and give it up for adoption then go get your butt on birth control and WRAP THEIR TOOL BEFORE YOU GO TO WORK..you dig what im sayin?

Well....I'd have to say don't have sex till you're married or ready to have a baby.you can also tie you're tube's...but I wouldn't do that!you might want a baby later in life!So...do NOT have sex till you're married, if you don't want a baby!!!That's my best advice. :)
