Is it true that Arby's roast beef comes in liquid and they bake it into a solid? Why are there air bubbles?

Okay, here's the scoop.

There is a roast beef chain that heats up its roast beef by forcing steaming hot water through it right before they make your sandwich. This was Roy Rogers about 15 years ago. I don't know if they do it now, if they still exist, and maybe they're now Arby's.

That's the source of your rumor.

No idea. But I hope not.

Years ago I really LOVED Arby's roast beef sandwiches.

Now I don't anymore...the meat just doesn't taste all that good. Not sure what changed either!

No.

But at Taco Bell the refried beans come dried up in a bag, and they cook them in a pot of water to turn them back into fully-hydrated beans.

And at Wendy's their cheese "sauce" is made from a bag of powdered cheese and hot water... and since the cheese is constantly heated, it dries up, and they just add more water to it.
