It was his 1st ladder match and I don't blame the hardyz either. I mean they've done that moves so many times and nitro didn't get hurt, I think Joey was just standing too close. I do feel bad because I can't imagine the pain he is feeling, I think about that with all the wrestlers, everyone thinks "Oh its scripted, its fake." but they still get hurt sometimes.

I feel bad for anyone that could happen to. But, like Matt Hardy said, it was a ladder match and those matches are really dangerous. Even if it was Jeff who jumped on the ladder and Matt who held them there, it is NOT their fault and it's no reason for Mercury being such a jackass.

I now it, that was sad. But I honestly wouldn't blame The Hardy Boyz, I mean they didn't mean to do THAT much damage to him. Matt Said it himself, and I am sure that Jeff would have said the same thing. Plus it was in the script, but I still think that everyone was schocked about all the damage that he got.

That was bad but at least he'll wrestle again.....
Look at how many wrestlers become permanently crippled, like Droz several years back.
The worst one I saw was when Sid Vicious broke his leg jumping off the top rope....that was so gross.

why do you feel sorry for him??? he deserved it, any ways if you can't stand the heat get out of the freakking kitchen. like matt said it could of happened to anyone....i salute the hardy's for making joey look much nicer now.

I don't feel sorry for him Matt should though, since wrestling is fake he should of let go of him sooner instead he didn't he's face looks horrible.
