They are all forms of poetry.

Haiku is a form of Japanese poetry consisting of 3 lines:
the first and third contain 5 syllables, the second 7.

Diamante poems form the shape of a diamond.

A sonnet means little song, is 14 lines and follows a strict rhyme structure.

A limerick is a 5 line poem with a strict meter and is humorous.

Go to Poetry.com. Basically they are all poetic forms in which the rhyme scheme, syllable count and line number are very structured. They all have a five line base ( the sonnet can add lines at the end depending on if its an English or Italian Sonnet)
