Where is the oil pressure switch located on a 1996 43.L chevy vortec engine?

I'm looking for the one that shuts off the fuel pump when the oil pressure gets too low.

on back of engine behind the distributor. it's actually called the sending unit

Check one of two places. Next to the distributor or above the oil filter. It will have a 3 wire connection

lets see ops is behind dist. or by oil filter three wire plug -somebody needs to go back to school
