So I'm not talking about which way the world revolves, or how it goes around the sun. This is about how your mind has constructed the cycle of the year, and how you think of it. Perhapse not everyone has the same answer as me.....

My thoughts are usually of the weather conditions when I think about the movement of time through a calendar year..

Additionally, I anticipate upcoming family events and holidays. In fact, the anticipation of an upcoming event is sometimes more enjoyable than the event itself.

But, you might have been looking for a more philosophical thought.

As the grays and browns of winter slowly evolve into the brighter colors of spring, so does my spirit blossom and my mind seek out the sweet and secret nectar of a new beginning.

But, then trouble beckons as the heat of the day increases, just as my soul is burning for contentment but finds only sour tinges of doubt strewn on the anxiety highway.

I feel the pain and the burden of fate as I cross over into the season of foreboding.

As both good and bad thoughts are slowly forgotten, a moribund period ensues when the butterfly's wings are buried in the snow.

But, there is hope, because spring is again approaching. It carries with it a a re-birth. A new beginning...
