how can i make my own website for free?

There are a number of free web site builders, but they all have ads on the page. If that isn't a problem then pick one and go for it. I Use Yahoo Geocities and a program called pagebuilder. Go to Yahoo home page and look on the list on left side for geocities. click on it and away you go.
