Im going to NYC and wanna no what to wear.I want to look stylish and all cause NYC seems like that kinda place

2006 styles: try a long shirt that elongates ur body and make ur waist look slim. kinda tight, but DON'T GO EXTREME!!!!!!!1 jeans always look cute with everything. try a crop jacket, and go for glam and glitz. hair looks best wehn naturally styled, and shop for accessories at claire's. then, shoes would be nice is long boots, stiletto and pointed. remember, try to dress as you'd like. u should show ur own style. if u look nice, every1 will think u do! =)

well I'm from NY and it really depends on what part of Ny you're gonna be in and also what do you want to be seen as. Another thing is their is a wide range of different people that all live in NY and at the same time dress differently. Hooowever if you want to be considered stylish and not look like a tourist then always match your clothing. Keep it simple, and never overdo it too much or add too much accessories to your outfit. Also dress appropriate to your age range. NY is about having individuality....we're not followers, we try more to make our own style. But at the same time we keep it so it still looks acceptable. Lets say your going to wear a red sweater, you should wear black jeans/black pants/or skirt with black knee high boots. Wear a gold chain but remember keep accessories to a minimum. Put your hair up in a bun and switch up your hairstyles every now and then..never leave it in one style too much. If you still need help go to the nearest magazine stand you see and buy a fashion magazine. There are always the latest fashions that will help you to dress stylish. but dont forgot to always add your own touch of fashion to your outfit. That is after all the NY way.

Just what you would be wearing at home. You should dress up a little for the theatre but it is not overly formal. Looking like you are shopping at Wal-Mart for everything is a little bit obvious and out of place. - Otherwise, just remember no velvet, spandex, plaid, etc and you will be OK. NYC is the greatest place on earth so cut loose, spend the dough, and enjoy.

um, just be yourself. Wear what you usually do. Unless you live on a farm and tend to livestock all day, you should be fine. NYC is not all that different from wherever your from. Trust me. Been there.
