It's not jealousy. It's a look of concern because of cultural difference. But if the couple look happy, everybody will be happy. And to onebaldmedic, its not about the size. It is functional over ornamental.

I agree with Dave Star. Lets be frank here. Not to insult foreigners or anyone at all but sometimes I wonder if love is indeed BLIND!
Though there are cases that Filipino men gets jealous if you court a girl they are attracted to. Its a normal thing. Anyone would get jealous if the girl you want to date is with someone else. But this is a rare thing. I think these men are not jealous but they are just staring at you and the girl, wondering why are you together.
Some of the Filipinas they (white guys) date are rejects by Philippine standards. I am a Filipino guy and sometimes I wonder what did this Filipina do to make that white guy fall in love with her. Same with foreigners. Some of these white guys are old enough to be their grandfather. What makes these two people click? Two lost souls finally finding each other? or is it Benjamin Franklin (100 US Dollar Bill) talking?
Sometimes Filipino parents themselves are a bit biased. If an old Filipino guy will date a younger Filipina, the family of the girl is usually hesitant. But if an old white guy courts a young Filipina, you will hear less objections. Money can indeed buy some happiness.

How do you know it's jealousy?
Let me ask you this, and maybe you can get a better insight into your own question: how do you think you'd feel if America was populated by a large, foreign, permanent military presence, and the soldiers of that presence married pretty American women, lived in nice American homes, in up-scale surroundings, etc.? Be honest, wouldn't that tick you off just a wee bit? Well, then, how do you think these Filipino men feel, because, for all intents and purposes, this is exactly what goes on in the Philippines!
I'd venture to say that jealousy is not the cause of their animosity.

I dont know what are you saying but I never felt jealous myself. You see, I am amazed at how convinced the foreign guy would appear, that the Filipina is really, deeply in love with him wherein fact, she is not. How sure are you that she is not seeing a Filipino guy also.
Furthermore, dont ever believe that Filipino's are jealous because of the size of the manhood.
This is what I say to you brother.
" It's not the size, It's how many times you can make it RISE"
Filipino men are good on that part.
I dont know about foreign men,
maybe that is why they invented VIAGRA. Crap!!!

I have lived here now for many years and I have not noticed the Filipino men looking jealous when the women are with foreigners. I must admit I do not hang out in bars and that may be where this is taking place. Are you sure the looks you are getting are not looks of jealousy, but looks of disgust for perhaps the way you are acting in public with Philippine women? Maybe you are imagining they are looking at you with envy and jealousy in order to inflate your own ego. There does not seem to be a shortage of women in the Philippines so I do not think foreign men coming to the Philippines makes the Filippino men feel threaten. I also belong to an expatriate club that meets twice a month and the purpose of the club is to discuss issues we foreigners encounter in the Philippines. Normally 30 to 40 foreign men attend each meeting and I have never heard anyone mention this topic. Most of the foreigners in the Philippines are old retired goats like me and I doubt these young, single, hunks feel threaten by us and I doubt that they are jealous of us. If I had a choice I would prefer to be a young, handsome Filipino than an old American with one foot in the grave and another on a banana peeling with the only thing really going for me being money.
Asians may be known to have smaller endowments than Americans, Greeks, etc. but I was always told it is not the size of the tool but what you do with the tool that really counts.

Cultural reasons. They like Filipina women so much that they want them to themselves only. If a foreign man throws himself at a Filipina woman, a Filipino man will beat him up or kill him, especially since he will be her husband or boyfriend. Filipino men are very feisty and vindictive that it's tolerated in Filipino culture. Dating and marrying women from other cultures is dangerous because they get married off to their own culture and their betrotheds will beat you up or kill you because you are different.

Filipinos are not jealous. They're just amazed how a beautiful lady falls in love with an ugly guy or vice versa, an ugly lady falls in love with a handsome guy. Love is really blind. I hope that answers your question.
Mabuhay!

I dont think they are jealous, I had been married with Causasian for 30 years, we go to Phila once a year and I had never been given that look, if anything they have so much respect to me and my husband and all our children and grandchildren.
I suggest if you encounter those kind, just smaile at in a kind way and you will receive the same kindness and respect.

It depends. maybe the guy knows the girl or likes her, thats why he is jealous. I think if the guy looks jealous then it means he has feelings for the girl.
