PS3s from Japan will play Japanese PS2 games
PS3s from NA will play NA PS2 games
Basically whatever regions existed before.. are still there for the PS2 backward playing...

PS3 can play PS2 game. But I doubt that it removes the regional code for PS2 game.

no.. plus all PS2 games looked horrible played on PS3 (worse than actually playing it on PS2 console).
so, save your PS2 if you decided to buy PS3.

yes thats why it make no cents for people to get in a fight over the ps3's wen they will make it better by the summer time u should just buy it next chrismas
