dreaming is easy, its remembering that is hard. stress can block it out along with other things in life that weren't always there. If you wake yourself up in the middle of your dream, you are likely to remember it. If you do that long enoguh and make sure to recall your dreams, you might eventually be able to control them...weird i know

Various drugs have been used for years by many cultures in order to enhance dream states. American natives used peyote, San Pedro cactus, datura, tobacco, and morning glory seeds to accomplish hallucination and a dream-like state. Africans used opium, hemp, ibogaine, and alcohol to achieve the same results.
The Maya administered ritual hallucinogenic enemas and the european witches put a salve made with atropine and henbane on the end of broomsticks and rode them (vaginally), by the time they got off, they were flying. Look at old paintings of Witches and you will note that the witch does not sit on the bristle end of the broom.
Other ways of inducing dreams include sleep deprivation, fasting for long periods of time (such as a week), and sensory deprivation
In modern medicine, the best dream inducing drug that is frequently used is the nicotine patch. this has been reported to induce vivid colorful dreams by its users

I'm sorry to tell you this, but: Everybody dreams every night, the moment you close you eyes and sleep we all begin to have dreams about 10-30 minutes AFTER you sleep. You just can't remember your dreams, that's all. Maybe you should take some vits. to improve your memory?

I'm a very vivid dreamer and I've helped other people learn how to remember their dreams. It work well enough that I remember my dreams every time. This takes practice so don't expect results on your first try.
Before going to bed, just tell yourself "I'm going to dream." Repeat that until you go unconscious. It's worked for others, I see no reason why it shouldn't work for you. Try it! =D

Someone once told me if you keep a dream journal you will remember your dreams better....even if you write "no dreams tonight."
Not recommending it....but antidepressants will make you have some wacko dreams. Anything that keeps you from going into a really deep sleep will help you remember dreams more.

OK, THIS I WHAT I FOUND OUT. IF YOU DON'T DREAM YOU ARE EITHER STRESSED OUT DEPRESSED OR YOU HAVE TOO MUCH ON YOU MIND. SOMETHING IS BLOCKING YOU FROM FEELING COMFORTABLE AND RELAXED.
I BELIEVE IN GOD ,SO WHEN I NOTICED THAT I WASN'T DREAMING I PRAYED AND IVE BEEN DREAMING EVER SINCE
