Hm... Well, with your grades you should be able to go to about any school you want so far. Keep up the good work there.
AP classes aren't for anyone or at least not all of them are. I took AP courses in HS (I just graduated this year). I was good in my Math AP courses and English, but Science and History were'nt my forte. Take AP in subjects you're good with, and be prepared to work. They will help you for college (in some you'll be able to take tests that will count for actual college hrs, saving money once you get to college.
Just remember to Study, and to start looking for scholarships NOW.
And fill out a FAFSA (ask your school counselor, or whoever is in charge of scholarships at your High School) the year you expect to start going to college. I think (if you're not held back, God Forbid) that you'll graduate in 09, so that's probably the year you start college. Fill out a FAFSA asap once you get back to school from Holiday break that year in HS. I hear it's first come first serve. I was able to get a few good grants from it. It will also see if you're qualified for some low rate loans that are out there. (ew... loans...) Loans aren't a first choice, Scholarships and Grants are, but if you can't cover it with them, then you've pretty much got no choice. Borrowed money is better than no money for college. Well... That's all I can think of for now. If I think of anything else, I'll come back and answer some more. ;-P
Good luck in HS! And remember to socialize. People say that you never talk to your HS friends afterwards, but you realy do!

You're getting awesome grades; good for you! And good for you that you're thinking about college already. I had a B+ average when I graduated high school and took one AP class and got accepted to both schools I applied for, Penn State and Lock Haven University. It sounds like you're on track.
I went to public schools, so a 'blue ribbon' school will help you assimilate well if you choose a private college. I honestly don't think it matters too much. Some of my classmates went to the top non-Ivy League private schools in the country and did very well.
Colleges also look at extra-curricular activities, but don't burn yourself out. If you enjoy cheerleading, do it. If you'd rather play basketball than be on the debate team, that's fine too. I recommend you limit yourself to one activity per season and no more than three per school year. That way, you'll have time to study and work after school (if you need to).
Don't worry about money either. There are lots and lots of grants and scholarships out there, and college loans have the lowest interest rates around. Talk to your guidence counselor for more information. Plus, you can defer loans for years after you graduate.
If you consider the military as a way to pay off college, take some advice from a veteran (me): go to college and graduate first. If you need help with loans afterwards, the military will pay off your college loans if you enlist for as few at 3 years. Not only will they pay off your loans, but you'll go in at a higher rank and have a better idea of what job in the military you might like. I got a degree and then enlisted and it worked out great. The other way around will see you at 30 without a degree. I've seen it happen.
Keep up the good work!

Yeah, you still can get into college....if you keep getting those grades (or better) in 10th, 11th and 12th grade. Dont forget to study (for school and the SATs) and take the SATs. You can take the SATs as many times as you want in 11th and 12th grade.
You probably dont have to take a lot of AP classes. You should take some every year (no more than 4 in your sophmore and junior year and no more than 2 in your senior year), but dont overload yourself. Last thing you want is to fill up your entire schedule with AP classes and fail all of them cuz there was too much work. Also, universities dont want to see you fail AP classes and it wont make you look better (academic wise)
Focus on getting high grades and high SAT scores throughout the rest of your high school career and you probably wouldnt have to worry about getting into a good university.

Of Course! Good job! Keep your Grades as HIGH as possible for a great school!
Do the best you can on your SAT's and do quality extracurricular activities...and get a lot of help on your essay then you will get into a GREAT school!
Bring your grades up to Straight A's no matter how hard!
-To be honest with you High School is difficult because you have to balance your academics with your social life, but Academics are number one...remember that....Have as much fun as you can in highschool they are the best years of your life!
Usually your sophomore and junior year of HS are looked at more closely so bring those up!
Look to see what the average college SAT's of the schools that you want to go to are and then aim about that!
You will do well!

ok first of all it's good that you're starting to think of college so early... its never too early. Your grades are good enough to get you into college depending on what college you're thinking of... there are so many colleges and universities that like you really have to be failing not to get in somewhere. Your school may or may not matter depending on whether you're planning on remaining within your state or not. The best thing i can say you should do is to make a wish list of the college(s) you'd like to go to, check their requirements and gpas etc and aim for that (or higher than that). All the same, just do the best you can so you'll get into the best colleges you can get into. Take as many AP classes as you can manage and still do well in, do extra-curriculars/volunteer work, get to know your teachers so they'll write you good recommendations etc.

If you keep those grades that good then absolutely you can get into college ...mine were mostly C's and some B's and D's even.....and I got into a technical school...My SAT or ACT score one of them was only 2 points too low to get into most universities...you sound really smart I think you could get into most places.

Of course you can get into college.
What you want to do is when you apply to colleges, find out what their requirements are. Most will require SAT scores or something similar to that. They will also require transcripts of your high school grades. Talk to your guidance counselor about possible career choices -- discuss what your academic strengths are, what you like to do. Happy college hunting.
