Ok, to be 100% honest with you this does sound like a miscarriage sorry to say. I had a miscarriage a couple years back and at first noticed some light spotting, when the miscarriage was actually on its way I too had blood clots, heavy bleeding(red-dark) and pain.
sometimes spotting is normal in pregnancy but with blood clots it is almost a given that its a miscarriage. I advise u to call 911 or have someone take u into the ER now so they can treat you. If it is a miscarriage they cannot stop it but they can give u pain meds and make sure that everything is going the way it should and no infections are arising. Please go to the hospital tonight. Good Luck and so sorry..

didnt you just find out you were pg? i was reading your other questions.. ok i just have to disagree with some other posts on here. a miscarraige, in the vast majority of cases, is NOT an emergency, nor can it be saved. an early m/c is usualy caused by baby not forming right or a choromosomal diorder like down's syndrome. early miscarraiges are actually pretty common. I went to the ER for my m/c (i was 6 weeks along) and since i was low priority to others there (they knew they couldnt do anything if it was one), i waited almost 13 hrs there just to have an u/s and be told, yes you're having a m/c. The only reason i went right away is b/c i'm a negative blood type and i knew i needed a rhogam shot. (if you are - you need one too within 48 hrs.) Anyway if you want to, to make yourself feel better go on to the ER so they can tell you whats going on, just be prepared that that unless you are bleeding profusely (soaking a bunch of pads an hour), they are not going to put you at the top of the list to be seen. You might just be able to call your doc and get advice over the phone and see them tuesday when they reopen.

Ok sweetie... Calm down... You need to call your doctor... I had a m/c in Febuary however I knew mine was coming after an ultrasound showed no heartbeat... I held out hope and refused a d&c... but ended up m/c anyway...

I had large clots that last2 days and bleeding that lasted 2 weeks... During the two days of clots I had extremely painful contractions... The worst pain in my back and abdomen I have ever felt...

Doc said it would feel like a "bad" period... Heck no it didn't... It was contractions!!... And I blacked out from blood loss on the 2nd day...

Please honey call your doctor or go to the er immediatly... See if there is anything they can do to save your baby... You don't say how far along your are... I was 10 weeks... And it was so hard...

I will pray for you tonight... Call someone now!!!... xoxoxo

Miscarriage
Bleeding while pregnant doesn't mean that miscarriage is certain, but it can occur. About half of the women who bleed do not have miscarriages. Miscarriage can occur at any time during the first half of pregnancy. Most occur during the first 12 weeks. Miscarriage occurs in about 15 to 20 percent of pregnancies. If you think you have passed fetal tissue, take it to the doctor's office so it can be examined.

Most miscarriages cannot be prevented. They are often the body's way of dealing with a pregnancy that was not normal. There is no proof that exercise or sex causes miscarriage.

How far along are you? It does sound like a miscarriage. Can you get to a doctor right now? Is there someone to take you? Call 911 if you are home alone. Don't be scared but you need to get emergency medical help right away.

For starters, How far along are you and how old are you?
Next, call your doctor. If you're passing as much blood as you describe, you're going to need to be checked out by an OB/GYN or an ED Physician. If you're dizzy/ lightheaded, you're blood pressure may be low and you should probably call the ambulance. I don't mean to freak you out but this can be very serious for both you and the baby.

you could possibly be having a miscarriage. Are you feverish? Clots are not a good sign - your best bet is toget to a doctor . if you bleed too much you can become anemic and get really sick - if can;t get medical attention right now - REST . sip on cool, clear liquid- sprite,7up , apple juice - put a heating pad on your belly- but it is most important that you seek medical attention!

Get to your doctor or go straight to the hospital ASAP. Ive had two miscarriages and know exactly how frightening is. I bet there are many other women who can relate as well. Get going now...dont sit on the PC fretting.
