I don't think one bullet caused that much damage.

Jimmy "the Weisel" Frattiano claimed that Giancana (the then Boss of Bosses out of Chicago) gave the go ahead for Marcello (of New Orleans) to carry out the assassination. It involved Castro (who had a grudge after finding out the CIA was behind the Bay of Pigs Invastion) so he got a patsy (Oswald) from the Russians to carry-out the deed. Marcello's beef was a result of JFK's investigations into organized crime. To cover the link to the Mafia, Marcello had Jack Ruby (a two bit night club owner in the Marcello organization) take out Oswald. Giancana's beef with JFK was his impression that JFK renigged on promises to leave the Mafia alone since he felt he pulled strings in Chicago to get him elected.
Several weeks before the assassination, Oswald met with Cuban agents in Mexico. For inexplicable reasons, the FBI agents who were following up the Cuban connection as a part of the Warren Commission investigation, were recalled back by FBI Central office.

Conspiracy theories are continually unique, and that i have continually had a tricky time swallowing the "Oswald acted on my own" version. besides the indisputable fact that - interior the 60s and 70s, a lot of Mob adult males were given whacked for causes that had not some thing to do with the Kennedy hit. The murders you factor out may nicely have taken position no matter if the plan fell aside and Kennedy had survived. that's the "what ifs" that has continually made historic previous this kind of eye-catching topic for me.

No the mafia was not involved but they are too glad to let people think they were. I even read two books written by ex mafiosi pretending that they killed him, one is called Double Cross by Giancana's brother and the other one I forgot its title. Each give a complete different account of the death of JFK. The mafiosi love to impress the crowds and let people believe that are very powerful.. But they are not too concerned about the accuracy of their report.
A bunch of pretentious idiots...

Here's my theory.......
Bobby Kennedy was digging deep into the teamster's illegal activities. Jimmy Hoffa was the leader of that union and he was a mobster. He had JFK killed to prove to Bobby that if he could kill his brother, he could kill Bobby with no problem. Jimmy Hoffa had the guy (name can't spell Surrhan Surrhan) kill the hit man (Lee Harvey Oswald), so that he wouldn't squeal. When Bobby wouldn't back off, Jimmy Hoffa finally had him killed off. The union, not wanting the feds to connect any dots that Hoffa had, had him killed..... and to this day.............no body. No proof, just a lot of theories. So, anyway, that's my theory.

I doubt the Mafia was involved in John F Kennedy's assassination.
Robert Kennedy's assassination is much more likely.
