I tried downloading iTunes, but it wont let me because I have "not enough disc space". I delete anything I dont use and it never really makes a difference. Sometimes it says "critically low", what can I do? I need space on it, is there some way to get the disc space bigger so it can hold more? by the way, im on a laptop, if that makes a difference. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

How much space do you have and how much are you using? Go to My Computer and right clock on drive C, Select properties and it'll tell you the size and usage.

If you've got a fairly small one, you can buy a new larger one and replace it. Or, search around for unused software and remove that. Look for large downloaded files you no longer need.

Check your temp internet files and clean that up. Make sure your settings are set to use no more than about 20mb.

You could also compress the drive, but I wouldn't suggest that. It would probably take too much effort and not be worth it.

You can try using the tools for the drive to do a disk clean up. That may get rid of some of the temp files too.

Well, if you are deleting documents and pictures that you don't need, then one of the only other things that you can do is to uninstall programs that you don't use anymore. Also, make sure that you delete your temporary internet files, and recycle bin. Try running disk cleanup from start - all programs - accessories - system tools. There is no way to "make the disk larger" other than removing programs and files that you don't use anymore. The only thing about having a laptop is that is trickier to add more storage to it. You could by an external hard drive, if you wanted, but if you need a quick, free fix, just remove programs and files that you don't use, and run disk cleanup. Hope this helps!

Where are you trying to download iTunes to?? Are you trying to download music to your iPod? Your iPod may be the problem, there may not be enough room on the iPod for the music your trying to download. The computer sees the iPod as another drive, therefore the message "Not enough disk space".

click on start, go to accessories, look for system tools, click on disk cleanup, and after you run that then click on defrag clean both "C' and "D" drive, that should make it run better, if it still says low, check out requirements for the installation such as memory, or ram.
