My internet card is d-link xtreme n Desktop adapter the version is dWa-552

Don't bother with Vista. Anything they did right is just a cheap copy of Mac OS X. My piano teacher hates Macs, but he says (and I quote): "I'll go Mac before I go Vista." All Vista is going to do is improve (possibly) some compatibility and security issues and look a bit nicer than XP.

Silly question but before you downloaded Vista was your internet card already installed and DID you go to Microsofts website and use the online scan to see if your computer was able to run Vista.
Because not only does the scan ck your computer to see if it can run Vista it also cks the softwear programs and the hardwear you have hooked up to it.
It gives a readout of WHAT WILL and WHAT WILL NOT work with Vista....such as Norton Antivirus, TrendMicro and ZA.WILL NOT WORK WITH VISTA.

If vista cant find driver for that, get othe card.that's the price we pay when we use vista. my camera,my printer, my scanner ,my tv tuner all of those did not work with vista I had to install xp again.
