Either your kidding, or you've been seeing too many Harry Potter movies!

Wizards have always been a myth - like elves, gnomes, centaurs, etc. etc. Shaman were considered to be talented in magic and were found in ancient tribes (before modern medicine). They were a cross between a "wise-man", and "medicine-man." They used different "spells" and cures to heal people of their ills.

If you believe in Wizards, you have to believe in Witches. And, there are still women that say they are witches. Whether or not you believe that is up to you. In parts of the Southwest there are still "cuanderas," who are witches and still help heal people using herbs and spells.
