Yes its possible although rare.

But in your case its not that what you are fearing. This is quite common and expected to be cured on its own. If problem persists after 20/30 days - visit doctor.

You probably have a condition called “gynecomastia.” This is some degree of temporary breast development that often occurs in many adolescent boys (approximately 60 percent of 14 year olds). It may consist of just small lumps under one or both nipples (often these are tender), or it may progress to further development so that the male breast has the appearance of small female breast. It may also involve changes in the nipple and areola (the dark tissue surrounding the nipple). The areola may enlarge and protrude and show some change in color. All this occurs because during puberty both boys and girls are producing more sex hormones, estrogen and testosterone. And in some males, their breast tissue may be temporarily more sensitive to the effects of these hormones. (Not everyone knows that boys, as well as girls, have breast tissue under the nipple.)

Yes you can have cancer but normally when there is a lump under the nipple it is a sign of cancer growing somewhere else. My son had testicular cancer at age 16 he had swelling of the nipple two years before and the old family doctor that we had seen for years told him that it was normal. We changed doctors and low and behold my son had cancer and it was not normal. DO have it checked soon.

My prayers are with you. Tell your parents.

Yes it's possible.. all humans start out as females with an X chromosome... then depending if you get a X sperm or Y sperm determines if your a male or female... We all start out as a women so we all have breast tissue.. which could later on in life develope breast cancer...

It's rare.. but it can happen.. Lumps don't hurt... also.. it could be fat or breast tissue that your feeling... have it checked out by your doctor either way!

Good Luck!

Yes, although it's rare; and at your age it's exceedingly unlikely that it's cancer. It may simply be a pimple that's lower down under the skin than most are. If it doesn't go away after a week, see a doctor.

This happened to both my youngest son and my grandson at that age. It is normal, and usually it will disappear in a year or two, if it gets larger, a doctor can remove it. It is just excess tissue that sometimes goes berserk. And yes, guys too can get breast cancer, but it is rare, and your too young.

Yes I have heard that men can get it but I really think you should really not be too worried about it - it is probably just a little cyst.
If you are really worried the best thing to do would be to speak to your doctor and put your mind at rest.

Yes males can get breast cancer, it is not as common in men as it is in women but they can still get it, and has nothing to do with the size of the male breast either. Please get that checked by your doctor asap.
