Terrorism can be solved by ending our interventionist foreign policy and never again turning to the idea of pre-emptive strikes against other nations. War is only legitimate when one is defending against an attack. Hitler pre-emptively attacked Poland, eh? ;P

"Death tax" is bullsh!t. Only the wealthiest of the wealthy have to pay it. Not a damn dime has been paid by farmers or blue-collar people, no matter how many times the administration lies.

Marriage is a religious act between two people. Government has no business regulating or interfering in the personal religious activities of consenting adults who are not infringing on anyone else's civil liberties. Only a Socialist would argue that government must regulate its citizens in the bedroom or in the church.

Terrorism is a real issue but is often overused by the current administration.

Death tax reform & protecting marriage are not real issues.

How about protecting the constitution? As opposed to the current administration's dismantling it? Now there is a REAL issue for all times - not just a glib sound byte of the day such as your "death tax reform" & protecting marriage.

Are those the top three issues in your adolescent worldview?

Nobody is attacking marriage, so there is no need to protect it.

Most liberals don't care about death tax reform because the richest fraction of our population comprise the only group that CARES about it.

You can't prove that the Patriot Act has prevented terror attacks, and plenty of liberals signed that garbage bill anyway. Try again.

Dumb ***!!! terrorism is the boogie man, like communism and the Nazis. Without a boogieman, people focus on domestic issues, like taxes, and corruption. If estate taxes concern you, then you stand to inherit more than $75,000, or whatever the new high is. If you are afraid of gays being married, you need to look around. At least we don't have to worry about them reproducing. A concern your parents should have had. Why should we heteros be the only ones who's mates make us miserable? Why don't you worry about the deficit....6 billion a month in Iraq...halliburton running the sec def office.....child predators in congress....social security going bankrupt......the real issues???

Terrorism - we have tried but Bush won't listen to anybody.

Estate Tax Reform - we tried but the Republicans only want it for ppl that inherit over $250k... that was the last bill on it they tried to pass. We want it for everybody.

Marriage - Bill Clinton passed the Defensive Marriage Act in 1996 defining marriage between a man and a woman at the federal level.

terror is the only real issue you listed... but since were so tied up in Iraq (good job Republicans) we can't really do that much about it...

do you really think the other two are the issues that America is talking about? like 5 rich pepole care about death tax and only the "moral minority" cares about protecting marriage...

08 should be a cakewalk, if this question is any indication...

Yawn. Those real issues, lost you guys the last election and will probably lose you the presidency in the next election. This country is a democracy, why do you guys hate that so much? Anyone who does not agree with your thinking is a liberal who hates America, you're sick.

you are silly if you get caught up in all this bi-partism BS. The "liberals" are gonna screw america just like the "conservatives" did. We root for politicians like they are a sports team, meanwhile we are the ones that suffer poverty and death (iraq). While fat cats from both parties get high on coke and start underage gay love affairs. Our whole two party system is a friggen joke to say the least. Thats why I dont vote anymore, you gonna get screwed no matter what.

why would you think a liberal would not deal with those issues?? thats like saying when will conservatives confront real issues like lack of health care,,,,,, loss of jobs,,,,,and equality? im sure many from both groups confront many issues,,,,,,
plus, most people are not across the board liberal or conservative,,,,, they are liberal on some issues, conservative on some
