LOL, I'M giving myself a makeover too! I want to go back to school a totally different person. I decided Winter Break would be the perfect time too!

I'm considering the following:
*getting some makeup to cover my pimples
*new clothes(I made a list of my "must have" winter items with estimated prices)
*getting makeup for my eyes and lips
*asking for advice and opinions on Y!A
*whitening my teeth
*getting a new hairdo
*getting a new pair of shoes

Plan out EXACT items you want to buy. Think of the stores you go to. Go to those stores, look up the items, anything you like, write down the price. Go to the mall and buy it there. Buy a few magazines and get some fashion ideas.

For the makeup, go to a department store and ask one of the employees what would look good on you. Clinique, MAC, Estee Lauder, Fashion Fair, etc. are good. If you already what looks good on you, just go to WalMart and buy some Covergirl, Maybelline or Revlon.

Good luck. :)

I was lucky to have a makeover this year, courtesy of a television show, so there were company sponsors. I got a facial skin makeover from a renowned dermatologist. She put collagen on my face. She wanted to do threading on me, but it required me to be absent from work for three days, so I did not agree. I got free shirts and pants from a fashion store at the mall. I get free colored contacts and one set of beautiful eyeglasses. I got free pink shoulder bag, sandals. I had free hairstyle and haircolor. I could have gotten also free new dentures, but I guess there was no longer any time for this. Since I had to be presented on TV for the audience to see the new me. In the other competing TV station, the makeover included the residence of the person! They gave new interiors, new applicances to the lucky beneficiary.

first brainstorm on the looks you think are pretty. Then ask yourself if this hairstyle would fit your face and other questions like that. Try taking a picture of you and adding cutting out bangs or another hair color and put it on the picture. See how you looks. Don't do anything too risque' just in case.

And remember- its whats on the inside that counts

You should consult with a few plastic surgeons for their ideas and recommendations.
And also a stylist at a beauty salon and exercise trainers at sports clubs.

Consulting with these people will give you an idea of what you might consider.

first: how much it costs
then I would go through magazines and look at all the different looks for hair, make-up, and fashion. Pick which styles you like the best and go from there. Good luck!

step one..hire a professional..one that will tell you like it is..
