We got our septic tank pumped about a week ago and now its starting to smell like sewage inside the house. Does anyone know why, and if so, how we can eliminate this odor. Thanks for your help...

Just the break up off all the sewer s--- and the air backing the smell back up the pipe's.Smell should go away,if not in a day or two your vent on the roof my be clogged,need a plumber .

i'd call the septic guy and ask what to do. after all he did just earn a paycheck from you. but you could try baking soda down all the drains. good luck.

You need to hold the tradesman accountable. He has done something wrong and made a fair amount of money out of you in the process.

It is possible he sucked all the water out of the "P" traps. run water down all the drains.
